Born in post-war Armenia in 2021 by Sevana Tchakerian and Gor Tadevosyan, JINJ fuses electronic beats and French hip-hop with Armenian folk music into a unconventional Armobeat sound rooted in tradition, sourcing inspiration from majestic green mountains to the pulsing beat of the city, in a mystical mixture of 808s and shepherd's flutes.
